Inner Peace

Peace,
Silences the nightmares of the mind.
Peace,
Feeds the dreams of the heart.

Inner peace (peace of mind) refers to a deliberate state of psychological or spiritual calm despite the potential presence of stressors. Being "at peace" is considered by many to be healthy and the opposite of being stressed or anxious, and is considered to be a state where our mind performs at an optimal level with a positive outcome.peace of mind is thus generally associated with bliss, happiness and contentment.

In some cultures, inner peace is considered a state of consciousness and enlightenment that may be cultivated by various forms of training, such as prayer, meditation, yoga.

People have difficulties embracing their inner spirituality because everyday stressors get the best of them. Finding peace and happiness in the little joys of life can seem like a lot of work and results do not seem all that gratifying.

Like: there is a continuous conversation going on in everyone's head. A lot of energy, time and attention are wasted on discussing small unimportant incidents. This conversation goes on from the moment of waking until falling asleep.
The inner dialogue continues while working, studying, watching TV, talking, walking and eating. There is a constant judging of people, commenting on what is going on, planning, gossiping and mental conversation with people you know or don't know. These inner dialogues bring out snowball effect. The more you conduct them, the more you become chained to them, unable to stop them. When the emotions are also evoked, more power, energy and attachment are added. This has an adverse effect on the behavior, judgment and general performance.

It's okay to have an inner dialogue sometimes, but most of the time, it is just an incessant, useless chatter, which distracts the attention from what you are doing at the moment. By becoming aware of it, replacing it with positive thoughts, and refusing to become involved with it, you gain the ability to control it.
